Second Saturday Series: Hunger in the Real World

 Jones Valley Urban Farm continues to offer a unique community service to Birmingham as we welcome community gardeners to the farm for our Second Saturday Education Series.  Join us the second saturday of every month for a few hours of fun, learning, and an opportunity to dig in the dirt! Our goal is to provide educational opportunities designed specifically for community gardeners and soon-to-be farmers. Each class will have a specific theme, which include organic gardening techniques, weed management, garden planning, canning, and more.

Classes are $10 per person (free for Foodbox Folks and Community Gardeners). Of course, donations are always welcome and volunteering is always free!
